“This is a selection of my favourite monochrome images taken from all photographic subjects across Scotland and further afield.

Monochrome is defined as an image in either black & white or varying tones of one colour. Shooting in monochrome focusses your image creation to the specifics of light and shade, tone and contrast. Although I still use the standard selection of black & white filters when shooting on film, I tend to use the Adobe Photoshop monochrome filters to achieve the same results when shooting digital.
